Description

The Clinical Service Engineer main task is to provide technical product support to the sales department and assist with product related procedures in the Operating Room. He/she provides advice and offers possible solutions to problems related to the use of the device. This position is not responsible for sales targets, but supports the sales team to meet the company’s sales objectives. The Clinical Service Engineer generally reports to the Sales Manager and works in close cooperation with the Account Manager.

Qualifications

The Clinical Service Engineer requires a Bachelor degree or higher in medical technical or other paramedical education (operating room assistant). He/she must have extensive experience in the healthcare industries and have experience with the use of the product / device (in the Operating Room). Familiarity with the target groups (medical specialists, nurses, physiotherapists etc.) is a plus.

Tasks

    • Provide technical support to the sales team
    • Visit current and prospect clients
    • Propose viable solutions for problems which clients have with the use of the product
    • Provide training and product presentations to current and prospect clients e.g. physicians, medical specialists and lab technicians, account management
