Description
The Medical Director plans and directs all aspects of an organisation's medical policies, programs and staffing. He/she often works side-by-side with the general director on the corporate / executive level and is the ‘expert’ and leader in all medical perspectives.
Qualifications
A candidate for Medical Director must possess an advanced degree in medicine or pharmacy and have extensive experience in a relevant field. The Medical Director relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Tasks
- Responsible for strategic clinical relationships with all medical staff
- Oversees the development of the clinical content in marketing materials
- Ensures all clinical programs are in compliance
- Write research publications appropriate to support clinical service offerings
